COMPETITION RULES FOR THE 2010 STEEL SHOE FUND 3HR EVENT
All teams must have between two (2) and four (4) members.
NO MINORS WILL BE PERMITTED TO COMPETE UNLESS THEY HAVE ONE OF THE FOLLOWING WITH THEM AT SIGN-UP:
- Both parents must be present to sign the release form, or
- One absent parent must have signed AND NOTARIZED this form which the other parent must sign at sign-up
- NO EXCEPTIONS.
There are three competition divisions, which run simultaneously but are scored separately:
- LIGHTWEIGHT = 125cc-200cc
- MIDDLEWEIGHT = 201cc-400cc
- HEAVYWEIGHT = 401cc + higher
NO Canadian screws and NO cut tires are permitted. An inspection of all motorcycles will be conducted prior to the event, and we reserve the right to check all bikes during pit stops.
All bikes must have AMA-legal front and rear fenders at all times for safety.
All other rules will be per the AMA Sports Rulebook.
